Kathleen's story
"When I’m stressed, I reach for my running shoes instead of a cigarette."
Year quit: 2002
Kathleen had smoked for almost 30 years when she quit. She used the nicotine patch to help and walked three times a week to fight potential weight gain. “The patch gave me the power to walk away from cigarettes,” she says. “Now I feel like I could walk to the next town.” Kathleen shared her story about how she quit to help motivate others to try to stop and to Make Smoking History.
