Counseling Options

When you’re quitting, talking with a trained professional who knows what you’re going through can help a lot—and can even double your chances of quitting successfully!
Using support and medication together makes you three times as likely to quit for good!
Many support options exist, so you can pick what works best for you.

Online
If talking with someone isn’t practical for you or doesn’t make you comfortable, online support may be the perfect option for you. Go to www.trytostop.org – it’s an interactive website that helps you make a quit plan and gives you access to expert advice. And you can still get support from other people if you want—you can talk with other quitters and with counselors through the site’s community bulletin board.
